Why Partner with MEG Recruit Limited?

Scope of Services:

1.1. The Agency shall provide professional recruitment services to the Client, which shall include but not be limited to identifying, screening, and introducing candidates suitable for the Client's employment opportunities.

1.2. The Agency shall use reasonable endeavors to ensure the suitability of candidates introduced to the Client, including verification of qualifications, experience, and authorization to work.

Client Obligations:

2.1. The Client shall furnish the Agency with all necessary details of employment vacancies, including job descriptions, required qualifications, and other pertinent information.

2.2. The Client agrees to promptly inform the Agency of any offers made to candidates and the outcomes thereof.

Fees and Payment Terms:

3.1. Standard Fee: The Client agrees to pay the Agency a recruitment fee equivalent to 15% of the candidate's first year's gross annual salary upon successful placement.

3.2. Exclusive Offer: If the Client provides the Agency with an exclusive vacancy for a period of four (4) working days before engaging other agencies, the recruitment fee will be reduced to 9% of the first year's gross annual salary.

3.3. The Client shall issue payment within 14 days from the date of the invoice issued by the Agency.


Refund and Replacement Policy:

4.1. In the event of termination of the candidate's employment within three (3) months of the start date, the Agency will endeavor to provide a suitable replacement at no additional cost.

4.2. If no suitable replacement is found within six (6) weeks, a refund will be provided according to the following scale:

- Termination within 1-3 weeks: 75% refund

- Termination within 4-5 weeks: 50% refund

- Termination within 6-8 weeks: 15% refund


Confidentiality:

5.1. Both parties agree to keep confidential all information related to candidates and the terms of this Agreement, disclosing such information only as required by law or with the other party's written consent.

Data Protection:

6.1. Both parties will comply with all applicable data protection laws in processing personal data exchanged under this Agreement.

Liability and Indemnity:

7.1. The Agency shall not be liable for any damages, claims, or costs arising from the acts or omissions of any candidate placed with the Client.

7.2. The Client shall indemnify the Agency against any claims made by a candidate or third parties related to the employment or engagement of candidates introduced by the Agency.

Termination:

8.1. This Agreement may be terminated by either party by providing thirty (30) days' written notice to the other party.

8.2. Either party may terminate this Agreement immediately for breach of its terms if the breach is not remedied within fourteen (14) days of written notification of such breach.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

9.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

9.2. The parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the United Kingdom courts for any disputes arising out of this Agreement.

Special Terms for Blind CV Introduction:

10.1 Blind CV Introduction Offers: The Agency may, from time to time, introduce special terms applicable exclusively to the hiring of candidates from a blind CV introduction email. These special terms may include, but are not limited to, discounted fees, extended replacement periods, or unique refund conditions, and are designed to encourage the engagement of candidates whose skills and qualifications are presented without identifying information.

10.2 Limited-Time Offers: Special terms introduced under this clause may be offered for a limited time or subject to specific conditions as communicated by the Agency at the time of the blind CV introduction. The Client must accept these terms within the specified timeframe or under the specified conditions to benefit from them.

10.3 Acceptance of Special Terms: Acceptance of special terms must be confirmed in writing by the Client prior to the engagement of a candidate under the conditions of a blind CV introduction offer. Such acceptance shall modify the terms of this Agreement only in relation to the specific candidate hire and shall not affect the overall terms and conditions of this Agreement.

10.4 Termination of Special Terms: The Agency reserves the right to withdraw or modify any special terms related to blind CV introductions at any time, with immediate effect, upon providing written notice to the Client. Any engagements entered into prior to such withdrawal or modification shall be honored under the terms agreed upon at the time of the candidate's acceptance.

10.5 Confidentiality of Blind CVs: The Client acknowledges that the blind CV introduction process is designed to focus on the qualifications and skills of the candidates, without consideration of their name, gender, age, or other personal identifiers. The Client agrees to maintain the confidentiality of any information received through blind CV introductions and to make hiring decisions based solely on the professional merits presented.
